Your first 5 steps

You can be up and running in under 5 minutes. You don't need to know accounting, and you don't need to do everything today. Steps 1 and 2 get you set up (the quick part). Steps 3 to 5 are the everyday.

Under 5 minutes — get set up

1. Finish setting up your business. A few quick questions so Fulkrum fits how you work (you may have done this at sign-up).
2. Connect your bank — or upload a statement. The big one: it pulls your transactions in so you're not typing anything by hand.

Then, day to day

3. Review what's waiting. Fulkrum suggests a category for each transaction — give it a quick look and tap Post it.
4. Snap receipts as you spend. Take a photo and we read the merchant, date, and total.
5. See where you stand. Open Reports for a plain-language read on money in, money out, and your financial health.

One best move: open a separate business bank account and keep personal and business money apart. It makes everything here cleaner.
